Rex Raptor, known as Dinowright in the Japanese version, is a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. He is an avid dinosaur Duel Monster card player and is typically portrayed as a rival of the main character, Yugi Moto. Rex is an easygoing, tough-guy type of character who loves to Duel and loves dinosaurs. He is also a master strategizer who has also been known to employ underhanded tactics in order to win. He often teams up with Weevil Underwood and his sister, Mai Valentine, and the three of them are known as the Big Five. He sometimes faces off against other characters in the series, such as Joey Wheeler, Mai Valentine, and even Yugi Moto himself.
